Found a 2005 Audi A4 this evening that I’m really feeling. It’s a 2.0 turbo, quattro (that’s Audi for all-wheel-drive), 6 speed, leather, sunroof and a bunch of other options that are probably too nice for my own good. The odometer reads 49,000 miles and the dealer is asking $18,000.

So, do I want the brand new Subaru Impreza 2.5i premium or the 2005 Audi A4?

Weigh in on the comments.

If you get the Audi, you need to act like a total snob when around Ryan (for a good few months), he’s so anti-audi.

You know where I stand, Proopsey… as long as the history looks good and it seems solid - buy it, don’t look back, post vids of decimating unplowed parking lots.

Bonus points if you wreck the local Suburu clubs’s good time in the process. Even more bonus points if the last thing they see as you cover them with deluge of snow is your middle finger.

Audi’s are a good time. Chris certainly missed his old one when he got the Accord.

This is a no brainer……………….New car, warranty, Japaneese reliabilty, re-sale, yadaydayda the Subaru is my choice

German cars are fun to drive when they are new but the honeymoon is over they are EXPENSIVE to maintain anf they do require lots of mainteneace to stay fun to drive.

Oh jeeze, Uncle Bob… spoken like someone who troubleshoots issues with cars by calling a dealership and asking them have it in for a look. Don’t do that to yourself or your wallet with ANY vehicle.

Rob, believe me on this one, Uncle Bob is no slouch when it comes to getting vehicles repaired.

    I wasn’t saying he wasn’t good at _getting_ them repaired…. ;)
