Archive for December, 2009

I’m headed home for close to two weeks, here’s my to do list.

  1. See my sister’s new apartment in Boston.
  2. Ski Wachusett with my brother. He got his first season pass this year!
  3. Spend some quality time with my Mom and Dad. Remind them that their cats cannot replace their children.
  4. Make my way to Sunday River, hang out with Nick, Darcy, J-Diddy, the Matthew’s family and everyone from the Sunday River online community.
  5. A night in Worcester with Rusty and Charlie (my college roommates) so we can plan their bachelor parties and throw brain cells around like they’re confetti.
  6. Southie with Eaton and Katie. It just needs to be done.
  7. Amirault family Christmas party, it’s going to be a wild one. We’ve got lots to celebrate and be thankful for.
  8. Christmas day with my mom’s side of the family. The Moulton family knows how to cut loose.

Dew Tour, packing for xmas in New England, trying to finish 2009 work for Freeskier = No time for MMP.

I’m going to be home for 12 days starting on December 23.

Turns out the facial recognition tracking software in the new HP desktop and laptop computers will not recognize black faces. FAIL!

Guess what I’ve got?

This, my friends, is why General Motors is destined to die. Behold, their marketing genius.

Looks like we’re not getting that bailout money back anytime soon.

Here she is, my 2007 VW Jetta. 2.5l 5cyl, 5 speed, almost every option in the book. My first car was a 1991 Jetta GL (Mark II) and I couldn’t be more happy about being back in a VW.

Yes, I know that it isn’t all-wheel-drive however from what I’ve been told by some friends in this state with the same car that they’re plenty good in snow with the proper footwear. I couldn’t see myself spending $20,000+ on the Subaru when I wasn’t a fan of the overall fit and finish / interior of the car. To me, the Jetta is more sophisticated, sportier to drive and has an interior that blows away any car in it its segment. One of my friends was joking around that this was a “Poor man’s Audi” and that’s just fine with me.

I’m taking delivery on Wednesday.

Wow. This must have been an awkward one to run at the school’s print shop.
